We’re kicking things off with one of our most beloved traditions: the Stuffie Sleepover! Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library for a weekend of fun! Drop off your cuddly companions on Friday, Dec. 5, or Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. And guess what? They’ll embark on a weekend adventure and will come back with a magical picture book documenting all the fun they had! Plus, don’t miss the Stuffie Sleepover Storytime right before the Taste of Christmas Parade on Friday, Dec. 5th – you won’t want to miss this holiday-themed storytelling with your favorite stuffies!
But that’s not all – we’re getting crafty this month with an exciting contest to see who can create the most fabulous paper plate wreath! Stop by the library from Dec. 1 to Dec. 20 to grab your supplies and get started. Join us on Dec. 12 and Dec. 17 for a fabulous crafting experience during our holiday craft times, where we’ll have all sorts of supplies for creative projects that the whole family can enjoy, kicking off at 1 p.m. both days!
Warm up your taste buds at our “Make Your Own” class! Join us on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 4:30 p.m. to create delicious hot cocoa mixes that you can enjoy while you craft. Our Glowforge will also be open to the public this month for a creative class where you can make your own snowflakes and winter crafts on Wednesday, Dec. 17, from 3 to 5 p.m. Feel free to stop by and explore our Idea Lab anytime this month, or join us for our highlight class on Fridays and Saturdays at 1 p.m. for more holiday crafting opportunities.
We also offer a free legal clinic with volunteer attorneys online every third Tuesday of the month from 4 to 5:40 p.m. Don’t forget to RSVP by calling 970-563-9287. If you’re looking for emotional support, join Sara Barnes, LPC, from Hospice of Mercy for our Grief Support Group on the first Tuesday of the month at 3 p.m. You’re welcome to come anytime – no commitment needed!
Calling all creative minds! Join our amazing workshops designed just for you! Get sewing at our Sewing Workshop every Monday at 1:30 p.m., let your imagination soar at our Open Art Studio on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m., or knit and connect with the ICL Knitters Group every Thursday at 1 p.m.
And we haven’t forgotten our younger patrons! Bring your little ones to Storytime on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for a delightful mixture of stories and crafts. Don’t miss out on the hands-on thrill of Silly Science every first Thursday of the month at 4:30 p.m.
