Following the “No Kings” rally at Rotary Park, participants continued to line Main Street in Durango, Colo., where participants held signs and chanted slogans. La Plata County residents gathered to advocate for the millions of disenfranchised Americans being affected by current policy changes made at the government level.
The American Flag or “Old Glory” is on display as demonstrators gather in Durango, Colo. to protest the current administration and their policies, including changes in equality, financial equity, LGBTQ rights, and civil liberties.
A large crowd of protestors gathered in Durango, Colo., joining cities across the United States, including New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles to march in solidarity for the “No Kings” protest. The event in Durango, Colo. was largely held at Rotary Park on Saturday, Oct. 18.
