The Frost family placed a memorial plaque in memory of their daughter, Deanna Frost in the Deanna Frost Memorial Spiral Garden located in front of the Southern Ute Health Center. The herb garden was originally created by Deanna Frost, in 2016 with the hope of encouraging healthy eating and lifestyles within the community — the project was made possible at the time through grant funding. The project was, and still is, a collaboration with Shining Mountain Health and Wellness. The Frost family installed the bronze plaque, in remembrance of Deanna, and her commitment to community health and wellbeing. She was the former manager of Shining Mountain Health and Wellness. Pictured here are her parents, Bryon and Etta Frost, with their grandson Richard.
