Employees kick back at Purgatory Resort

Permanent Fund employees greeted each other throughout the morning, eager to enjoy the slate of outdoor activities during Employee Appreciation Day at Purgatory Resort.
For all who attended Employee Appreciation Day at Purgatory Resort, Colorado’s natural beauty was on full display to enjoy.
Mother and Daughter, Marleen and Yolanda Vigil wore big smiles on Purgatory’s chair lift ride through the mountains on Employee Appreciation Day.
nUte staff members Jake Fixico, Jordan Reid and Virgil Morgan took a break from enjoying the mountain views to share jokes and laughter.
Members of the Permanent Fund’s HR Department, along with Executive Officer Lindsey Box, and TIS Director Amy Barry took a break from hosting duties to pose with Little Miss Southern Ute Alternate, Olyvia Watts.

The Southern Ute Indian Tribe had their Employee Appreciation Day, Friday, Aug. 22, to honor the hard work and dedication of its Permanent Fund staff. Employees enjoyed a fun filled day of activities, fantastic views, generous smiles, and great company at this year’s event, held at Purgatory Resort north of Durango, Colo. The attendees were treated to numerous events and activities such as the alpine slide, a poker walk in the mountains, and an outdoor luncheon. The Tribe would like to say thank you to all who attended and appreciates the hard work and dedication of those that help make the Southern Ute Indian Tribe’s permanent Fund successful.
