Reaching their GOALs

GOAL High School held their commencement ceremony on Friday, May 30 at Fort Lewis College. Graduating high school seniors hit the stage to receive their diploma and celebrate this once in a lifetime achievement with their families, friends, and loved ones. The GOAL High School graduating class includes four Southern Ute tribal members and three first descendant students; Amaira Brown-Watts, Jasmyn Doyebi, Nate Hendren, Tamarius Roland, Victoria Morgan, Andreas Chavez and Mia Tallbird. Following the presentation of diplomas and the tassel change, graduates met with their guests outside for photos and gifts.
