Jaela Velasco and Samantha Pinnecoose decorate salt dough ornaments during the Luminary Lights & Ornament Decorating event held at the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum. On Monday, Dec. 23, ahead of the holidays, community members were invited to enjoy hot chocolate, biscochitos, ornament painting and rows of luminary lights outside the facility. Attendees also stopped by the gift shop to pick up last-minute Christmas gifts for their loved ones.
Hundreds of luminary lights lit up the pathways to the Southern Ute Cultural Center and Museum on Monday, Dec. 23 as part of the Luminary Lights & Ornament Decorating event. The rows of luminaries made for a delightful sight ahead of the Christmas holiday and led the way to a family fun event for all to enjoy.
