Mesa Building infrastructure improvement project underway

     The purpose of this is to notify you of a current project Construction and Project Management is working on at the Mesa Building at 4101 CR222, Durango, Colo. The purpose of the project is to provide improved accessibility to the building, re-grade the parking lot for improved site drainage, increase the number of available parking spaces, and finally, to provide asphalt paving for the re-graded parking lot area. 

The project is fully grant funded and is anticipated to be completed in the final week of September. While construction activities are ongoing, staff and clients may expect to see heavy equipment operating at the facility, traffic control along County Road 222, adjusted parking schemes, as well as varied building access dependent on the contractor’s phased work plan. The contractor will have staff at the site entrance to provide proper directions on parking and building access. 

Construction and Project Management is committed to ensuring this project is delivered safely on time, within budget, and with the minimum amount of disturbance to daily activity as possible.

While Tribal Health’s Mesa Building at 4101 CR222 is undergoing its paving project through Sept. 23, please be aware there is limited parking at the building, but it’s prioritized for clients. Upon pulling up to the building, a traffic administrator will greet you and show you where to park upon entering the premises. Please follow traffic signs and take is slow in construction areas.
