Miss Indian World, Kassie John visited the Southern Ute Indian Tribe during the Bear Dance Kick Off Meal held on Friday, May 24. John represents the Gathering of Nations Powwow and hails from the Navajo Nation.

Members of the three Ute tribes and their families gathered for a meal at the Sky Ute Casino Resort ahead of the Southern Ute Bear Dance weekend on Friday, May 24.
