The 45th annual Snowdown Light Parade had record attendance on Friday, Feb. 2, where locals line main street each year at dusk to vie for the top prize in decorated floats. This year’s theme — “Peace, Love, & Snowdown” did not disappoint, as classic rock tunes provided the soundtrack for Friday night’s parade, and retro outfits turned downtown Durango into a disco dance party. Snowdown took place from Friday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Feb. 4 with a host of local events.
