Tribal members are provided question sheets and pens to record their questions for the candidates, following that Tribal Council Affairs staff collect the questions to be read for the respective candidate.
KSUT Tribal Radio 91.3 FM and Southern Ute Shared Services staff sit alongside one another during the event, ensuring the broadcast and livestream run smoothly for the tribal members who are not in physical attendance. Membership meets candidates


The Meet the Candidates night was held at the Sky Ute Casino Resort on both Tuesday, Oct. 17 and on Thursday, Oct. 19. The event is coordinated by Tribal Council Affairs staff; the closed informational meeting gave tribal members the opportunity to meet with the candidates vying for a seat on the Council. Each candidate read opening and closing statements and answered questions from the membership. This event was also broadcasted over the air on KSUT Tribal Radio 91.3 FM and livestreamed via Web-Ex Event through the Tribal Member Portal.
