Youth of the Month
Our Youth of the Month focuses on acknowledging and making club members aware of their own unique character and abilities. As staff, we want to recognize them by their positive attributes seen in their club driven experience.
For this month of September, our Youth of the Month awards go to Nathan Velasquez and Zaliyah Bluestar.

Boys & Girls Club of the Southern Ute Tribe CEO, Bruce LeClaire, and BGC Board of Director’s Area Council Liaison, Amy Barry, attended the 2023 Boys & Girls Clubs in Colorado Area Council Fall Meeting in Salida, Colo. on Oct. 13.
Agenda included: Board member of the year presentation, Area Council Business Meeting, BGCC Alliance Update, Annual Alliance Meeting, BGCA Strategic Direction Update, Small Group Discussion, and Colorado Area Council Succession Planning.
