Tribe shows its appreciation

The Southern Ute Permanent Fund celebrated its tribal employees during the Employee Appreciation Day held on Friday, Aug. 25, various tribal departments and divisions collaborated to host this event offering games, competitions, and entertainment for the employees. The day began with a 3D Archery competition and the welcoming address provided by Southern Ute Tribal Council, Southern Ute Tribal Royalty, Southern Ute Singers, and Tribal Information Services Director, Amy Barry. Throughout the remainder of the day employees enjoyed numerous activities, including a poker walk, fishing, pickleball, volleyball, karaoke, bowling, scavenger hunts, kickball, horseshoe and cornhole competitions.
