Pine River Shares has partnered with The Community Treehouse and Bayfield Parent Advisory Group to present “Harmony at Home,” a series for parents and caregivers of tweens and teens. Focused on listening skills to help create a thriving home life, the three-part series is facilitated by Rachel Turiel, nonviolent communication trainer and parent of teens.

The free summer workshops will be held on Mondays, June 12, July 10, and Aug. 7 from 5-7pm

at Pine River Shares and The Community Treehouse, 658 S. East Street in Bayfield. A light meal is provided.

 Workshop topics include:

June 12 – Tuning into Your Teenager: Bringing skills of empathy to meet all behavior and expression melts defenses and fosters trust.

July 10 – Caring for Our Own Triggers: Identifying triggers and slowing down our reactions supports us to show up with more clarity, wisdom and true power.

August 7 – Repairing When We Mess Up: Messing up is inevitable. Acknowledging our impact brings trust and connection, while modeling humility.

Register by June 9 to reserve a space and for childcare reservation. Childcare at The Community Treehouse is by reservation. Call Pine River Shares at 970-884-6040 between 9am – 3pm, Monday through Thursday, to register, for childcare, and for more information.
