Tribal Court Chief Judge, Scott Moore greets SunUte Director, Robin Duffy-Wirth before the swearing in of new Associate Judge, Michelle Taylor on Tuesday, March 28 in the Tribal Council Chambers. Friends and family members of Judge Taylor gathered to watch her become appointed to Associate Judge for the Southern Ute Tribal Court.

Michelle Taylor became the newly appointed Associate Judge on Tuesday, March 28 following her swearing in during the Tribal Council regular meeting. Taylor has completed extensive training to make this accomplishment, she will continue to learn in this position for the next three years.

Former Chief Judge and tribal elder, Pearl Casias helped mentor Michelle Taylor throughout her journey to becoming appointed Associate Judge, Casias shares a few words with attendees and members of Tribal Council expressing her pride in Taylor.
