Tribe to join Capitol Hill briefing on natural gas initiative

I am excited to share the news that we will be hosting the “Western States and Tribal Nations Natural Gas Initiative Capitol Hill Briefing: LNG Exports from the Pacific Coast” on March 9 in the Capitol Hill Visitor Center in Washington, D.C.

The briefing will feature a distinguished panel of guests including the Honorable Hirai Hirohide, Vice Minister for International Affairs, Japan Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry, the Honorable Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming and the Honorable Senator Ben Ray Lujan of New Mexico.

Also joining us at this bipartisan, international forum will be representatives of the Ute Indian Tribe, the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, the Jicarilla Apache Nation as well as executives from Sempra Infrastructure Partners, Tallgrass Energy, and the Board Chair of the Wyoming Energy Authority.

Our goal for this briefing is to advance the policy discussions and initiatives which came out of WSTN’s successful West Coast LNG Export Forum, held in December.

The Western States and Tribal Nations Natural Gas Initiative Capitol Hill Briefing — LNG Exports from the Pacific Coast to include policy discussion on Rockies Clean Energy Exports from North America West Coast – Resource Base, Industry Decarbonization Progress, Tribal Perspectives on Resource Development, Export Opportunities and the Energy Security of U.S. Asian Allies.

Stay tuned for further information and announcements on this event. Looking forward to seeing you in D.C. on March 9.
