Angela Richards and daughter Aaliyah Richards select ceramic clay bowls created by students at Ignacio Elementary School as part of the Empty Bowls Project which took place Thursday, April 28 in the Ignacio Elementary School Cafeteria. The Empty Bowls Project is an international project aimed at raising awareness to local and global hunger, this movement supports food-related charitable organizations around the world and has raised millions of dollars to help end hunger.
Ignacio High School student Solymar Cosio, and teacher Gretchen Gruber, select a soup to fill their new ceramic clay bowls at the Empty Bowls Project event held, Thursday, April 28. All participants had a wide variety of soups and bowls to choose from.
