Southern Ute Vice Chairman Ramona Eagle testified in support of Colorado Bill SB22-150 Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives. She shared her first-hand experience regarding the issues at hand to help rally state representatives to approve the bill and show support to Indigenous people in Colorado. The bill passed the committee on Monday, April 25.
Council Member Vanessa Torres provides a virtual testimony on Monday, April 25 to the House Committee on HB22-1327 Native American Boarding Schools. The bill received the necessary support and passed the House, moving on to the Appropriations Committee.
