Ice River Films and Numan Films meet and greet with Tribal Council, Monday, Dec. 13. The crew spent the weekend with tribal elder Muz Pinnecoose and tribal member War Casias filming traditional aspects of hunting, while on a mountain lion hunt on the Southern Ute Reservation.

The crew provided the Council with tobacco to thank them for giving them permission to spend the weekend on the reservation and film the hunt. The documentary will be released as a part of a series set to air sometime next year in Canada. Tribal staff who are also assisting with the project will also receive access to the film for educational and cultural preservation purposes.
