The House of Representatives hearing features tribal leaders from other tribal nations and groups to learn how tribal communities implement sustainable practices.

Chairman Melvin J. Baker testified, Thursday, Nov. 18, to the Select Committee on Climate Change, “Tribal Voices, Tribal Wisdom: Strategies for Climate Crisis” and spoke of the Tribe’s legacy of self-determination as it related to energy development history, business acumen, environmental stewardship, and its groundbreaking Coyote Clean Power Project with 8Rivers Capital, LLC.
