4CORE (The Four Corners Office for Resource Efficiency) is hosting an electric vehicle (EV) event on Saturday, Sept. 25 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will highlight driver and EV owner experience, the climate, clean air, and cost savings benefits provided by electric cars as part of the annual National Drive Electric Week.

The event will feature local EV owners showcasing their vehicles and sharing their personal experiences. An array of vehicle types will be on display including the Nissan Leaf, Tesla, Chevy Bolt, Mustang Mach-E and more. Other attractions include prizes and delicious treats from Durango’s newest food truck, Taco’s La Carranza.

The annual National Drive Electric Week, a coast-to-coast celebration of electric vehicles, will be held Sept. 25 – Oct. 3.
