Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)

The Southern Ute Indian Housing Authority has received a fund called the EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (ERAP)

This funding will help with ANY person renting within the exterior boundaries of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation.

To be eligible, the Housing Authority will need to determine the following:

  • That one or more individuals within the household has qualified for unemployment benefits or experiences other financial hardship due, directly or indirectly, to COVID-19
  • That one or more individuals with the household can demonstrate a risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
  • The household has a household income at or below 80 percent of the are median income.

To get an application, you can pick one up at the Housing Authority office, vie email or postal mail.
