The Town of Ignacio hoisted a Mask Advisory banner on each end of main street, Goddard Avenue in Ignacio. Wednesday, Aug. 5. The State of Colorado is still under a mask advisory as mandated by Governor Polis and the Southern Ute Indian Tribe is under the same mask advisory, as well as a stay-at-order, until further notice. The Ignacio School district has allowed the opening of all public schools on Aug. 24, and will follow state mandates regarding the wearing of masks and shields.
