The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) building that housed superintendents, tribal members and BIA workers was recently demolished. The demolition took place because the building was no longer needed, in addition to having asbestos contamination. Southern Ute Construction Services began the tear down on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
