“Tribal Radio” wins Best Native American Documentary

A screening of “Tribal Radio,” a documentary film about the history of KSUT as one of the first tribal radio stations in the country.  It was selected to screen at the Santa Fe Film Festival Native Shorts program, Saturday, Feb. 10. Sean Owen is a local filmmaker based out of Durango, Colo. and has made several films focused on Native American issues.  His film has also been accepted into several national and international festivals.

UPDATE:

“Tribal Radio” wins Best Native American Documentary at the 2018 Santa Fe Film Festival in Santa Fe, NM on February 10, 2018. A local public screening is tentatively scheduled for the spring of 2018 in the Four-Corners area.
