Fall produce has come and gone


The Southern Ute Indian Tribe’s Agricultural Department took orders from the tribal membership in late September and was ready to hand out produce, Friday, Oct. 13. Local produce such as potatoes from Farm Fresh out of Monte Vista, Colo., flour from Cortez Milling and beans from Adobe Milling out of Dove Creek, Colo., were among the ordering list, totaling up to 27, 366 pounds of produce ordered by approximately 130 tribal members.
