DJ Eagle Bear Vanas, of the Odawa Nation, author and professional motivational speaker, gave a presentation of ‘The Warrior Within’ to the Southern Ute Tribe’s Permanent and Growth Fund employees on Wednesday, June 21 at the Sky Ute Casino Events Center. He spoke of service to the tribe, how attitude speaks for itself, and what type of worker one can be – do just enough, or go above and beyond. Vanas is and was an U.S. Air Force officer for 14 years.
