Christmas has its perks, holiday meals galore, holiday vacations and a joyous time for the tribe. Employees of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe competed in an Ugly Sweater Contest on Dec. 22 and 23 in the Hall of Warriors of the Leonard C. Burch building.

Ugly Sweater winners:

  • 1st place overall: Constance Lehi
  • 2nd place overall: Precious Collins

Group 1:

  • Most Creative: Constance Lehi
  • Most Original: Edward Box III
  • Funniest: Landri Waunka

Group 2:

  • Most Creative: Precious Collins
  • Most Original: Francis Richards
