On Sunday, Sept. 11, Southern Ute Veterans Association members Raymond Baker, Howard D. Richards Sr., Bruce Heller, and Rod Grove met at the Durango Fairgrounds where they were honored at the 1^st Annual Memorial Appreciation Rodeo . The rodeo is in honor of those who perished during the Sept. 11 attacks, while commemorating past and current service men and women in the United States.
