Winterguard prepare for competition

The mini-cadets were taught the routine by Gabriel Garcia on Saturday, Feb. 20. Garcia flew in from Rhode Island to teach the Winterguard a routine in preparation for two upcoming competitions; The Spring Showcase in April and the Manzano Winterguard Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. March 26. Garcia has been working in collaboration with Sharon Hunter, Director/Instructor of the La Plata County Independent Youth Performing Arts, based in Studio 2B in the ELHI Building in Ignacio.
