Representing the Southern Ute Tribe was Southern Ute Royalty, Little Miss Southern Ute Krystyn Weaver and Southern Ute Brave Dewayne Hendren. Royalty joined sister tribe Ute Mountain Ute, and the Navajo tribe to represent the Native culture in the area.
The famous NBC “Today Show” weatherman Al Roker visited the Four Corners Monday, Nov. 9 for the “Rokerthon 2: American By Storm” challenge. The challenge is to report the weather forecast from all 50 states and District Columbia the fastest.
