Previously, the squad had defeated Dolores in two (25-17, 25-23) on the 22nd and had won 25-20, 25-15 at Telluride on the 17th in its last regular-season road match of 2015.

Before rallying past the Lady Mavericks, IHS had swept Dolores 25-17, 25-23 on the 22nd and prevailed 25-20, 25-15 at Telluride on Oct. 17.
