Youth Employment Appreciation Day commenced on Friday, July 31 as part of the Southern Ute Education Department’s recognition for the summer youth employees. The youth workers were treated with an entertaining selection of group activities, including a trip to the nail salon, paintball games, movies, and river rides supported by Four Corners Whitewater Rafting. The groups met for break at Santa Rita Park in Durango, where lunch from Zia Taqueria was served.
