After completing three Financial Literacy courses we have decided to make the curriculum more impactful by splitting Financial Literacy into separate courses. One course will now be for minors and younger members that focuses more on the basics of Finance. The other course will continue to be taught by Tribal Credit and will teach loan clients a higher-level Financial Literacy Course focusing more on home ownership and mortgage lending.

Classes 2 and 3 of the Loan Client Financial Literacy Classes taught in Durango (location TBD) have limited space, interested parties need to contact Tribal Credit 970-563-4744 to schedule. Tribal members will need to complete all four classes to receive a graduation certificate. Any tribal member that wants to increase his/her knowledge around financial literacy and home ownership is welcome to register.

Class 2: July 9, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. (La Plata Housing Alliance will reserve location)

Class 3: July 11, 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (La Plata Housing Alliance will reserve location)

Class 4: July 14, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in Buckskin Charlie Room
