The Southern Ute Indian Tribe got into the Halloween spirit with costume contests and trick-or-treating. A costume contest was held in the council chambers, allowing participants from the Growth Fund and Permanent Fund to display their festive attire. Families from the community were treated with a Halloween carnival held at the Sky Ute Casino Event Center with plenty of booths and displays to keep the fun going. The Southern Ute Head Start also had their Halloween event Thursday, Oct. 30.
