On Feb. 19 The Southern Ute Education Department took eight students to Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico on Wednesday, Feb. 19. The students visited some of the working sites and listened to the scientists that ran the experiments and research. They also had an opportunity to hear about internships and career opportunities in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.
