On Monday, June 22, the Southern Ute Tribal campus was visited by a certified therapy dog “Heinz” and his handler, Diane, to boost morale for Southern Ute Tribal employees. Heinz has been visiting hospitals, nursing homes, and workplace offices for four years. Chairman Marvin Pinnecoose takes time to say hello to Heinz during his visit.

Tribal Prosecutor, Felicia Charles and the Legal Department are full of smiles while visiting with certified therapy dog Heinz. This project was brought together with the collaboration of the Southern Ute Chairman, Marvin Pinnecose, Executive Officer, Lindsay Box, Communication Specialist, Summer Begay, and Human Resource Benefits Manager, Veronica Lasater.
