We hope you’re having an amazing summer so far! We’re excited to share some fun programs this month that we think you’ll love.
Join us to kick off July on Wednesday, July 1, at 4:30 p.m. for an all-ages program, Make Your Own class, where you can whip up some delicious non-alcoholic drinks at the library!
Then, don’t miss out on the Idea Lab on Wednesday, July 15, at either 2:30 or 5 p.m. This time, we’re focusing on creating beautiful wooden bookmarks in our Glowforge class. No prior experience needed, and everyone is welcome! (Just a heads up: kids under 9 yrs., will need a little supervision.)
We’ve also got some exciting virtual reality (VR) fun planned for July! If you’re curious about VR or already a fan, come join us every Thursday at 1:30 p.m. for Beat Saber, a super fun VR exercise game. Or if you prefer something more laid-back, take a virtual tour with us as we explore local spots and enjoy some tasty local food. We’re celebrating Colorado’s 150th birthday and the nation’s 250 years of independence! Don’t forget to sign up in advance by calling 970-563-9287 for the Virtual Reality Travel program.
Our monthly programs are also here to inspire and engage you. Start your week with our Sewing Workshop on Mondays, then enjoy Storytime, Open Art Studio, and Electronics Hours on Tuesdays. Join our Knitters Group on Thursdays and start your Fridays off right with Community Coffee and Donuts. Plus, if you’re looking to explore new ideas, check out our IdeaLab Classes on Fridays and Saturdays. For all the details, visit ignaciolibrary.org!
And don’t miss our other monthly highlights! We have a Grief Support Group led by Sara Barnes, LPC, from Hospice of Mercy, meeting every first Tuesday at 3 p.m. when you need a little support. Also, our Free Legal Clinic Program offers you free 20-minute consultations with local attorneys every third Tuesday. Just give us a call at 970-563-9287 to book your appointment.
We can’t wait to see you at the library!
