On Saturday, Nov. 15, the Southern Ute Tribal Council gave opening remarks welcoming the sister tribes, as they sat at this year’s Thanksgiving Tribal Dinner that is open to Southern Ute, Ute Mountain and Ute Indian tribal members and their families. The event offered an opportunity to exchange stories, while spending time with friends and family from across the different Ute tribal communities. The annual program was held at the Sky Ute Casino Resort in Ignacio.
