Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding: A Heart Healthy Treat!

An easy, delicious, make-ahead dessert with heart healthy secrets!  Fiber, protein, omega 3 fatty acids along with iron, magnesium and antioxidants! 

It’s perfect when you want something sweet, so consider adding this to your routine! 

 

Ingredients: 

  • ½ cup chia seeds 
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder 
  • 2 cups milk (almond, cow, etc.) 
  • ¼ cup maple syrup 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla 

 

Directions: 

  1. Place chia seeds and cocoa in a large bowl and whisk to combine and break up any clumps.
  2. Add milk, maplesyrupand vanilla, whisk well to combine. 
  3. Place inthe refrigeratorfor one hour, then whisk again. 
  4. Cover and chill inrefrigeratorfor at least 4 hours or overnight. 
  5. To serve, divide evenly into small dessert cups, top with raspberries, bananas, or any favorite topping!
