Thanksgiving will look a little different this year, but we can still celebrate safely.
Most importantly:
- Only celebrate in-person with people in your household
- Don’t travel: visit virtually with family and friends who don’t live with you
- Wear a mask and social distance at least 6 feet when grocery shopping for your Thanksgiving feast. Plan ahead to limit it to one trip.
Other creative ways to connect during the Thanksgiving holiday:
- Prepare traditional family recipes for friends, family, and neighbors and deliver to their doorstep.
- Have a virtual dinner party!
- Shop locally online (downtowndurango.org/onlinestore, for instance)
- Watch sports, parades, and movies in the comfort of your home with household/family members.
- Board games!
