Thanksgiving Guidance

Thanksgiving will look a little different this year, but we can still celebrate safely.

Most importantly:

  • Only celebrate in-person with people in your household
  • Don’t travel: visit virtually with family and friends who don’t live with you
  • Wear a mask and social distance at least 6 feet when grocery shopping for your Thanksgiving feast. Plan ahead to limit it to one trip.

Other creative ways to connect during the Thanksgiving holiday:

  • Prepare traditional family recipes for friends, family, and neighbors and deliver to their doorstep.
  • Have a virtual dinner party!
  • Shop locally online (downtowndurango.org/onlinestore, for instance)
  • Watch sports, parades, and movies in the comfort of your home with household/family members.
  • Board games!
