Ignacio’s own, Yellow Jacket drum group sang an honor song for the children and provided a closing song for the child abuse awareness event on Friday, April 4 at the Southern Ute Museum.

Southern Ute Chairman, Christine Sage read the proclamation that declared the month of April as “Child Abuse Awareness Month” on Friday, April 4 in the courtyard of the Southern Ute Museum. The proclamation was originally signed by Southern Ute Vice Chairman Alex S. Cloud in 2017.
