SafeCare Colorado is a flexible, free, voluntary parent support program. It supports parents and caregivers with children ages newborn through the fifth year. Parenting may just be the hardest job in the world, but it is also the most important! SafeCare Colorado is here to support you and your family; to help you build on strengths you already have and help your family thrive. Our staff of specially trained Parent Support Providers uses a proven process to assist parents and caregivers achieve measurable progress in the areas of parent child interactions, home safety and child health. Do you struggle when your child misbehaves? Want your home safer and childproofed? Do you wonder if your child needs to see a doctor or go to urgent care? SafeCare Colorado can help!

Parents and caregivers receive the greatest benefit from completing the entire SafeCare Program; they can start with one topic, which takes about six sessions to complete, before deciding if they want to continue with the other topics.

We serve: Archuleta, Dolores, LaPlata, Montezuma and San Juan Counties, Southern Ute Indian Tribe and the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe.
