SUIMA students stretch with SunUte Fitness Director Robin Duffy-Wirth as a part of SunUte’s booth at the health fair. SunUte promoted healthy eating, living and exercise.
Koda Mae Rima puts on SUPD’s beer goggles and tries to walk in a straight line at this years Health Fair held at Sky Ute Casino Resort’s Event Center on November 10.

SUIMA students also did some push-ups as a learning tool to help them recognize muscles they use while exercising with the help of Fitness Director, Robin Duffy-Wirth.

Just as exciting as it is informational, this year’s annual Southern Ute Health Fair put on by the Southern Ute Health Department featured numerous of informational booths and activities. Students from the Ignacio School District and the Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy got to enjoy fun activities while still learning about the importance good health.
