Former Durango High School football standout and University of Colorado Buffaloes player Ben Finneseth served as the keynote speaker. Finneseth spoke of working hard to achieve your dream, which he did earning him a starting position under CU Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders.

Southern Ute tribal member, Alicia Rock said the Land Acknowledgment at the beginning the graduation ceremonies.
