We have had a great year packed with learning and fun!

This year has been filled with learning and students setting high expectations to be the best BOBCAT they can be.

At the start of the school year, we introduced a new reading curriculum that was implemented in all grade levels. We focused on teaching standards that students need to be successful. We also, again this year, set Accelerated Reading goals with incentives for fun rewards. Students have earned prizes and parties throughout the year. The end of year celebrations is happening in May. We have many students that will get to go swimming at the SunUte Community Center, and a kickball game against staff. Thank you to all the parents that encourage our students to read. The enjoyment of reading starts at a young age.

April was a month of CMAS testing and our students did amazing. We had 100% participation and attendance during testing was amazing. Thank you for having your kids at school and ready to show what they have learned this year. All the 3rd -5th grade students who took the test and tried hard were treated to a movie and picnic at the park.

We are winding up the year with many projects and fun learning activities. We held a Welcome to Kinder night on April 22. Many new families came and toured the school and learned what next year holds for them.

Registration for all grades is now open, so please register your child. If you have any questions or need help, please call the school office and we will be happy to assist you.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Ignacio Elementary School. Together we can make a difference in our children’s education.
