Franklin O’John graduated from Pueblo Community College Southwest with an associate’s degree in arts. Future plans are to move towards a career in becoming an addictions counselor. Southern Ute tribal members, Franklin is pictured with his uncle, Amos O’John, commenting, “I grew up with him as I was raised by my grandmother (his mom) Eva O’John Taylor in Denver. Being my uncle, he is more like a brother that I look up to and has always been there to help me in any way he can and push me through hard times.”
Breanna Rose Pinnecoose recently graduated from the College of Southern Nevada with an associate’s degree in hospitality management. The family is extremely proud of Bree as she continues to elevate her business of dessert creations in Las Vegas, Nev. Bree has worked at the Venetian Hotel & Casino in Buddy V’s restaurant (Cake Boss) and has started her own entrepreneurship. Great Job Bree!!
Carmen Theresa Godac celebrates her graduation from Adams State University with a master’s degree in School Counseling, poised to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as she steps into the field of education. Godac is the daughter of former Southern Ute councilman Aaron Torres and Karen Torres.
