The Art Gallery at Fort Lewis College to host 63rd Annual Student Juried Exhibition

The Fort Lewis College Art Gallery is excited to host its 63rd Annual Juried Exhibition. For the past 62 years, Fort Lewis College has provided the opportunity to highlight and celebrate student artwork for the community. This year, the FLC Art Gallery is honored to welcome Emily Grace King as our guest juror.

Emily Grace King is an accomplished artist and museum professional currently working at the Arvada Center as an Exhibition Manager and Associate Curator. She holds a BA in Visual Arts with an emphasis on painting from the University of Northern Colorado and is a certified Change Leader with Colorado Creative Industries. She founded Art Drop Arvada in 2016, an interactive art program that focuses on uplifting the interaction between the local community and artists. Emily also serves as Chair of the Arvada Arts and Culture Commission where she actively champions public art within the local community and civic investment in supporting local artists.

We are excited to showcase the talented Art and Design students’ creations. This exhibition will run from March 7 – April 3, with the Art Gallery open Monday – Thursday 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Visiting the Art Gallery and all events are free and open to all ages. For more information on the exhibition contact kwaggener@fortlewis.edu and follow @flcartgallery on Instagram.
