Eagles Nest: Students enjoy White Mesa Bear Dance

The elementary students traveled to White Mesa, Utah to enjoy the last Bear Dance of the season.  Getting up early to travel by bus, the students enjoyed dancing and meeting students from other schools.  It was a day of excitement as they also realized that they were the first group from SUIMA to have made the trip to White Mesa. They showed pride in themselves and their culture as they stood tall for the first dance.  They represented their families, the school, and the Tribe in a positive and respectful way.
