The Ignacio Elementary Kindergarten class hit the fields at the Ignacio High School for their year-ending field day on the morning of May 11. PE Coaches Oscar Cosio and Cindy Valdez had been practicing the various events the students competed in. Events included javelin throw, softball toss, three-legged race, relay race, egg/spoon race, 50-yard dash, sack race and the ever popular tug-o-war. Ms. Pepper’s class won the tug-o-war this year.
