Southern Ute tribal member, Tarah Baker gives her eighth grade presentation to family members and Ignacio Middle School faculty on Tuesday, May 18 as part of her final requirements for continuation into high school. Each student presentation is filled with examples of their course work and extracurricular activities completed throughout their time as Ignacio Middle School students. Baker shared her personal goals she hopes to achieve while in high school and looks forward to continuing her education.

Southern Ute tribal member, Leandra Litz gives her eight grade exit presentation at the Ignacio Middle School, Monday, May 15 before school faculty and her immediate family. Litz created a PowerPoint presentation highlighting her academic, athletic, and cultural achievements over the school year, including a drawing she made of a hippopotamus, which she considered one of her best. She also put a strong emphasis on relationships, recognizing the important role that friends and family play in her life.
